Who is responsible

Somabay is the controller of the personal data collected through this site. Soma Estates handles sales enquiries on its behalf and will normally be the party that replies to you.

Written enquiries about this policy can be sent to sales@example.com.

What we collect

Only what the enquiry form asks for: your name, email address and phone number, the type of residence you are interested in, any message you choose to write, and — if you choose to tell us — how you heard about us. We also record that you agreed to this policy, and separately whether youasked for our news emails, each with the time you did so.

We do not ask for financial details, identity documents or any other sensitive information anywhere on this website. If a purchase progresses, further information will be needed — that is handled separately, under its own agreement, not here.

Why we need it, and on what basis

We use these details to answer your enquiry and to discuss availability, pricing and payment plans with you. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, together with the steps taken at your request before entering into any contract.

Telling us how you heard about us is optional. We use it only to understand which of our own channels are working — it is never used to build a profile of you.

News emails are a separate choice. We will not add you to a mailing list on the strength of an enquiry. You only receive news if you tick that second box, its lawful basis is your consent for that specific purpose, and you can withdraw it at any time — by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to us at the address above. Withdrawing it does not affect your enquiry.

We do not sell or share your details with third parties for their own marketing.

Where your data goes

Somabay operates in Egypt. If you are contacting us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your details will therefore be transferred outside that area. Egypt has not been the subject of an adequacy decision, so the transfer relies on your explicit consent and on appropriate safeguards in our agreement with Soma Estates.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no third-party scripts, fonts or embeds. Nothing is stored on your device and nothing about your visit is shared with anyone else. Because of this there is no cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.

If measurement tools are added later, this section will be updated and a consent mechanism will be put in place before any such tool is allowed to run.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to deal with them and any resulting sale, and are then deleted. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, restrict what we do with them, or object to our using them. You can withdraw your consent at any time — that does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

Email sales@example.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or the UK and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
